Seriously. Good. We don’t aim to make everything. We don’t aim to be everywhere but we aim to be seriously good. Whether it is a relaxed cellar door experience, where you can enjoy wines in comfort without the crowds, learn a little and savour the wine, or devour a cheese plate that is to die for, we aim to make your visit seriously memorable. Seriously. Commited. To make great wine takes a lot of hard work and time. Our estate vineyard, established in 1991, is nestled in bushland in the valley protected from winds. The growing conditions are excellent, with yields kept low through pruning, while ripeness in this cool maritime area is enhanced through the vineyard's northerly aspect and vertical trellising system. Using sustainable farming techniques means no harsh herbicides are used and the soil retains its fertility. Our babydoll sheep help keep the weeds and grass at bay in the off season and during growing season Toby spends hours whipper snipping and mowing the entire vineyard. That's commitment. Our grapes are hand-picked and sorted, ensuring only the best fruit makes it into the bottle. Our Pinot Noir is barrel mature and bottle aged before release, that's why you won't find our 2017 Pinot Noir on sale until 2019. We give our Pint Noir time to develop into a silky smooth delicious wine. Our sparkling wine is also made with care and patience. Like Champagne, our sparkling is made in the traditional method, with a minimum of 3 years on lees, the favours develop and sing in harmony. Patience really is a virtue in winemaking. PINOT NOIR Rahona Valley is a true 'Pinot' specialist. The estate's wines are all produced from a single 4 acre vineyard, consisting of 5000 close planted vines. This small estate is dedicated to making Pinot Noir that is a true expression of the 'terroir' and season. Five clones of Pinot Noir are planted (MV6, D5V12, G5V15, 115 and D2V5), along with a small parcel of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris. Here at Rahona Valley, the vines are mature and the drinkers are noticing the difference. Come on a vinewalk and see for yourself ...

Dianne and her husband were super friendly and they were both clearly very passionate about the wines they produce! Must try for me was the Pinot Gris - still the best I have tried to date and I'm normally a shiraz person!! sillybee1982 - tripadvisor.com.au Great location, great Pinot * * * * * We had the pleasure of spending some time with Toby and Dianne over the Australia Day weekend. Rahona is tucked away off the main road, and set in a delightful position surrounded by Eucalypts. Their cellar door caters for a variety of tastes, and they can also whip up a cheese board if you are so inclined. My favourite was the Pinot Noir. It's well wort a look, and I cannot wait to visit again Greg R - tripadvisor.com.au A Gorgeous Setting * * * * * What a lovely view at the end of the Rahona Valley driveway – rows of lush green vineyards at the front, natural bush at the back. A gorgeous setting. The Rahona Valley cellar door is stylish and functional, and I enjoyed each wine, with my favourite being the Rose. It's made from Pinot Noir grapes, has a beautiful colour and is delicious. I took a bottle to lunch with friends nearby and everyone loved it! We’ll be back. chrisx22018 - tripadvisor.com.au Gorgeous little vineyard - amazing Pinot * * * * * Really great little vineyard in Red Hill, the Pinot Noir alone was worth the visit, they also do a really lovely sparkling and very good value cheese platters.
