The Tuerong Homestead is located in Dromana Estate Winery. Established in 1982 at Tuerong Park, Dromana Estate is a prominent winery in the Mornington Peninsula. The land and homestead has a rich history from Aboriginal tribes know to have occupied the land to horse breeding and polo set, along with cattle farming. The homestead was built in the late 19th Century and the magnificent Weeping Elm prominent in our gardens is thought to be over 100 years old. Dromana Estate pride themselves in producing premium quality wines all available for tasting at the Cellar Door, we also offer casual dining in our winery cafe, with seating available both inside, in the gardens or on our terrace. Our gardens are safe and away from traffic so extremely child and pet friendly. We offer excellent disability access with ramps and conveniences, we can also offer special dietary assistance if discussed in advance. The estate is surrounded by vines and is accessed down a long tree lined driveway, this is a magical step back in time and a very relaxed atmosphere where an afternoon can be enjoyed by family and friends of all ages.
