The 2014 Pinot Gris is from a North-East facing site in the Macedon Ranges. The fruit was hand sorted in the vineyard and winery then whole bunch pressed. The cloudy juice was transferred to old barriques to ferment using indigenous yeasts. The wine was matured on its lees in barrel for 6 months.
The wine displays aromas of spiced apple/pear notes, honey, and citrus pith. The palate is textured and long, pear, nutmeg and honey, with vibrant acid.
