Baillieu Chardonnay

VINTAGE
2015 Was a mild growing season, dry & cool with an excellent sunny & warm January, February & March. Intensely perfumed and balanced grapes will result in some super wines.

WINEMAKING
Harvested on 17th March, and whole bunch pressed to retain delicacy and freshness, then settled in tank to clarify. The juice was transferred to French oak barriques (20% of which were new) for ferment and maturation, with around 20% of the barrels completing malolactic fermentation. Prepared for bottling in January 2016.
