Founding father Garry Crittenden was delighted and honoured to be inducted as a 2012 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival “Legend” for his contribution to the wine industry, in particular for his part in the introduction of Italian varietals into Australia in the 1990s as well as his work on the Mornington Peninsula. Son Rollo Crittenden, now chief winemaker, has also experienced his share of success as winner of the 2010 Australian “Young Gun Winemaker of the Year” in 2010. The result, as one would imagine, is sublime wine with a large selection to choose from. Being at the cutting edge when it comes to new and alternative varieties a visit to the Crittenden Estate Wine Centre is an educational experience as well as a pleasure. - The Cups Estate The Cups Estate is situated in the undulating dune region known as ‘the cups’.
